Background
Southampton FC sponsor Virgin Media, wanted to amplify their sponsorship presence beyond the pitch & appeal directly to the away fans throughout the season.

Challenge
Southampton FC required a solution that would be impactful across a large space and robust enough to cope with the demands of excited fans throwing beer into the air!
Our approach
We developed a projection solution, using a series of super bright (7000 lu) projectors encased in a ‘beer proof’ custom design & engineered housing. We used edge blending techniques to support animation across a 360 degree space and deployed a centralised content management system to schedule fan specific content on each match day eg ‘Come on you Gunners’. We created a giant countdown clock to create suspense and atmosphere in the run up to kick off.
