Lance O'Neill, Non-Executive Chairman
Lance O'Neill is a London-based director of DFB ( Australia) Pty. Ltd, a Sydney based investment adviser. He is also chairman of EP%26amp;F Capital Plc and Ragusa Capital Plc, both quoted on AIM. He has worked in international securities and investment markets since 1981. During this time, he spent over ten years based in London and Sydney with periodic work in the United States and the Far East, principally with Prudential-Bache Securities Inc., Societe Generale ( Australia) Securities and Rivkin Securities Limited, working in institutional equity and fixed income sales/trading as well as in corporate finance. He is a director of, and investor in, a number of private and public companies in the UK, USA and Australia. He holds a Bsc (Econ) Hons in Accountancy and Law from the University of Wales and is an affiliate member of the Securities Institute of Australia.
Geoff Robertson, Chief Executive Officer and Finance Director
Geoff Robertson qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London with Ernst & Young, and left to join Sony Corporation of America in 1997. There he spent two years in the Operational Review department, working and leading Internal Audit reviews of the international offices of Sony Music and Columbia Tristar Pictures, predominantly in Europe, North America and the Far East. He then moved to a line role within Sony Music for the majority of the next five years, in various senior finance roles within a specialist department sourcing international music repertoire through funding or acquisition deals with independent record labels. Although most of this time was spent based in London, Geoff also worked for 3 months at Sony Music Australia during 2003.
Upon his return from Australia, Geoff moved to Lewis Communications Ltd, a privately owned international Public Relations agency as Group Finance Director. He left in October 2005 and joined MediaZest plc.
Andy Hawkins, Group Sales and Marketing Director
Andy has worked in media and advertising world for 20 years. The majority of his career has been spent selling and marketing Broadcast media to clients and agencies. In radio, he was Sales Director of Yorkshire TV?s radio division and then became Commercial Director of the highly successful national station, Atlantic 252. In 1996 he was poached by Granada TV to head up the high profile launch of their satellite and cable channels. Since 2000 Andy has worked in providing in-store media solutions, both visual and audio, working for The Media Vehicle as MD, running his own music supply business and as a non-exec director of a visual media provider.
Ian Neale, Corporate Sales Manager
Ian joined MediaZest in March 2008 bringing more than 15 years of AV / IT experience to his new role, most recently holding the position of Corporate Sales Manager at ViewSonic personally achieving in excess of $2.5m of sales within Banking and Finance, Utilities & Energy, Retail, Media and Public Sectors. Prior to this Ian held several senior sales roles at Kensington Computer Products and Ikon as well as owning his own business. Having worked for Resellers, Distributors and Manufacturers, Ian's experience and understanding of the AV/IT Channel allows him to help position the company into becoming a major player within the AV Industry.
Orla Magee, Marketing Executive
Orla Magee joined MediaZest in May 2005 as Group Executive having worked with HR Consultancy Penna plc for a number of years amassing considerable marketing experience. Her current role encompasses brand management, PR, marketing and office management.
Charles Mupfurutsa, Business Development Executive
Charles has over 13 years experience in corporate sales and project management in the audio visual industry as well as the document management sector. After winning one of the largest AV contracts in South Africa with Xstrata Global, he relocated to London in 2001.
Before joining Mediazest he spent five years in the document management industry, first with Konica UK then Altodigital as a corporate sales consultant based in the south east. Charles has a wealth of experience in account management and has enjoyed a lot of success in new business acquisitions.
